TO OBTAIN INFORMATION REGARDING SILTATION OF THE MUSKOKA RIVER
The Town of Bracebridge is seeking input regarding the siltation and erosion that appears to be occurring on the Muskoka River from Lake Muskoka to the confluence of the North and South Branches of the Muskoka River.
On April 1, 2015, Mayor Graydon Smith on behalf of Bracebridge Town Council, announced that, in recognition of the work being undertaken by the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) Board as part of the “Hospital Care for Our Future Generations” long-term planning project, the Town has identified a potential site for a new acute care hospital to service Bracebridge and the entire Muskoka region.

The continued delivery of acute care services at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge is crucial to the long-term sustainability of the community and the continued provision of adequate health care services for the residents of the Town and the surrounding area.
