The Town of Bracebridge offers a wide range of recreation programs for all Children and Youth, from arts and culture to sports and wellness. Enjoy classes, lessons, workshops, camps, youth and teen socials, sports leagues, fitness classes, and aquatics. Children's Camps

Summer Day Camp 

Fun Fest Camp

Our traditional summer day camp provides your camper with the opportunity to engage in active and creative play in a group of similarly aged children, as led by a Camp Counsellor. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, rock climbing, sport and active group games.

Ages: 5-12 years

Time: 8:30am - 5:00pm 

Extended care available: 7:30am - 8:30am 

Activity Camps

Activity camps provide campers with the opportunity to spend time doing a particular activity of interest such as horse back riding, ball hockey, golf, canoeing, cooking, among others. 

Ages: 8 - 14 

Time 8:30am - 5:00pm 

No extended care available for activity camps. 

Holiday and PA Day Camps 

We offer camps during March Break and during the Christmas Break. Additionally, we offer PA day camps throughout the school year. 

Campers will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of recreational activities as led by a camp counsellor.

Our commitment to safety and quality

Our camp counsellors complete a week of training as delivered by our camper leadership team. All staff are certified with Standard First Aid and CPR.

Staff are also certified in the Principles of Healthy Childhood Development course through our HIGH FIVE. 

In fact, our organization is HIGH FIVE accredited, which means that we have to fulfill standards of safe and quality program design, evaluation and reporting. 

Registration 

Search Camp Programs and Register now. 

Register online for the best opportunity to get into your preferred camps on the morning registration becomes available. Or register at the Sportsplex with a customer service representative or over the phone at (705) 645-3037. 

Complete the camper intake form to ensure we have the most up to date information about your child, including behavior challenges, allergies or other important information, to ensure we can provide an quality experience. 

We will communicate camp registration dates on an ongoing basis. 

Camp Newsletter 

Newsletters will be posted on the website the Thursday before camp begins. Please refer to them to ensure your child(ren) have everything they need for a fun day at camp.

Inclusion Campers 

If you have a child with exceptionalities, who would benefit from the support of a 1:1 inclusion camp counsellor or a low ratio, please contact Recreation Programmer, Michael Patrick at mpatrick@bracebridge.ca 

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance can be accessed through the District Municipality of Muskoka's Child Care Subsidy program or through the Children's Foundation of Muskoka. 

Child and Youth Programs

Children have the opportunity to participate in drop in programming in addition to general interest, registered programs. All drop in programming is included in memberships and passes. General interest programs require additional registration and have a fee associated with them. 

 

Children's Drop-In Programs 

 

  • Public swimming, lane swimming, and parent and tot swims
  • Supervised play (3 months - 6 years) 
  • After school recreational programming 
  • Sport drop in 
  • Youth Socials (9+ years)
  • Rock Climbing 

Children's General Interest (Registered) Programs 

General Interest programs vary by session so click on register below to search for options. Program options include sport, fitness, skill building and arts.
