Child, Youth, and Camp Programs

The Town of Bracebridge offers a wide range of recreation programs for all children and youth including arts and culture, to sports, wellness, camps and more.

Our commitment to safety and quality
All staff are certified with Standard First Aid and CPR, and the Principles of Healthy Childhood Development. The Town of Bracebridge is HIGH FIVE accredited. 

Child and Youth Programs

Discover an exciting array of programs for children and youth. Programs are designed to inspire, educate, and engage young minds and bodies through sports, fitness, and physical literacy activities, as well as art, outdoor adventures, and cultural education.

Children have the opportunity to participate in drop in programming in addition to general interest, registered programs. All drop in programming is included in memberships and passes. General interest programs require additional registration and have a fee associated with them.

Camps

Fun Fest Camp (ages 5 to 12): Traditional summer day camp that provides campers with the opportunity to engage in active and creative play in a group of similarly aged children, led by a Camp Counsellor. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, rock climbing, sport and active group games.

Activity Camps (ages 8 to 14): Activity camps provide campers with the opportunity to spend time doing a particular activity of interest such as horseback riding, ball hockey, golf, canoeing, cooking, among others. 

Holiday and PA Day Camps - including March and Christmas break: Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of recreational activities as led by a camp counsellor.

Inclusion Campers
If you have a child who would benefit from the support of a 1:1 inclusion camp counsellor or a low ratio, please contact rec.office@bracebridge.ca 

Financial Assistance
Financial assistance can be accessed through the District Municipality of Muskoka's Child Care Subsidy program or through the Children's Foundation of Muskoka. 

Birthday Parties

Let us help you celebrate! Choose from a swim, climbing or skating party, then join your friends and family in a multi-purpose room to continue the celebration.
