The Woodchester grounds offer a serene and peaceful location to enjoy a variety of activities such as:
- Meetings or Conferences;
- Workshops;
- Intimate Wedding Ceremonies;
- Garden Parties;
- Afternoon Tea;
- Baby or Bridal Showers;
- Art Classes;
- Book Launches; and
- Workplace Training, etc.

There is plenty of foliage and greenery to help connect you with Bracebridge's natural roots while providing a tranquil backdrop for your special occasion.
Rental Space
Woodchester has a maximum capacity of 40 people.
The main entrance to Woodchester is through the sunporch french doors, where a natural light fills the room. Wall-to-wall windows provide the sunporch with a wonderful view of the grounds. This sunporch, along with most of the of the building, are available to use for your meeting or special occasion.

This naturally lit room is comfortable and serene, offering a 180° view of the lush foliage and gardens surrounding Woodchester.
This old dining room is now an open, bright space that is great for meetings and other group gatherings.
Once host to many Bird family functions, this now open parlour room gives ample room for tables and chairs.
This small, yet cozy room offers a perfect hideway for food or beverage stations, placecard tables, or any other event displays. It is accessed through either the Dining Room or the Parlour Room. With a decorative fireplace, this also makes a great corner to get comfortable with a book or sketchpad.
Lower Level Meeting Space Kitchenette 195 sq. ft
Entering through the downstairs door at the rear of the building you will find a large, newly finished work space. This meeting space is connected to a working kitchenette complete with running water, counter space, a microwave and a mini-fridge.
Located on the upper floor, Woodchester's master bedroom displays a unique lighting piece, original from the 1800's. The sizeable master bedroom is charming in its design, offering a classic space for any meeting or gathering. This room also connects with a small change room, showcasing the building's Victorian architectural design.
Located on the second floor of Woodchester towards the front of the building, is a small triangular room. This room was once a children's bedroom and has now been adorned with cushioned chairs to provide guests with a room to sit and relax in style. This room also provides access to the second floor balcony.
Across from the Master Bedroom is another useable rental space. This room, referred to as Bedroom 2, is smaller in size and therefore has capacity limitations. However, this room is bright and cheery and can offer a variety of options in terms of event design and layout.
Rental Fees
Please contact Lauryn Herstek, Collection and Event Coordinator, to inquire about rental fees, the Rental Agreement, or to book Woodchester. Fees are subjective to change.
All renters must sign a Rental Agreement prior to use of the space, even where no fee has been applied. Please note cleaning fee(s) or maintenance fee(s) may be charged after review of the grounds following your event.
