Bracebridge 150 Forest

Bracebridge 150 Forest

To celebrate the sesquicentennial anniversary of Bracebridge the Town is planting 150 trees and supporting its commitment of environmental stweardship, by creating the Bracebridge 150 forest.

This initiative is identified as a Bracebridge 150 legacy project and will be located on Town parkland between Little Ryans Way and Gostick Park.

The project will take place this summer and will include the planting of 150 trees varying in size as well as commemorative signage. Trees will range between six to eight feet in height and spaced 40 to 60 feet apart to allow for growth. The chosen tree species will align with the current Urban Tree Management Plan and will vary in maturity at the time of planting.
