Fares and Passes

The waveCARD is a pre-paid card where passengers can load a dollar amount onto the card, up to a maximum of $150.00 to cover the cost of their trips. Each time the card is swiped over the tag zone, the fare applicable to the passengers fare category will be deducted.

Cards cost $2.50 and are reusable.

Purchase and load your waveCARD at the following locations:

• Bracebridge Sportsplex, 110 Clearbrook Trail
• Municipal Office, 1000 Taylor Court

Payment can be made by cash or debit payment card.

With easyPASS, riders can load between one to three calendar months to their card and enjoy unlimited rides that time frame. Prior to the end of each month, reload your card at one of the locations below or turn it in to the Operator on the bus and get one "free" ride. 

Purchase and load your easyPASS at the following locations:

The monthly pass payment can be made by cash or debit payment card.

• Upon boarding, tap your card onto the card reader to deduct the appropriate fare and take a seat. It's that easy!
• Cards are transferable, but not registered. If your card is lost or stolen, the funds cannot be recovered or replaced.
• Seniors and Students must show valid ID when boarding the bus.

• Exact Canadian (CDN) currency is required when paying for your fare as Transit Operators do not provide change.
• No other currencies or tokens are accepted.
• Upon boarding, place the exact cash fare in the farebox and take a seat.
• Fareboxes accept any combination of bills and coins.
