The Town of Bracebridge is in the process of preparing an update to the Official Plan to guide the future of the Town. The result of the Official Plan update has been the preparation of an Official Plan Amendment to make several changes to the Official Plan for the Town.
The Committee of Adjustment for Consents will hold a hybrid public meeting on February 27th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. The following applications will be considered:
Take notice that the Committee of Adjustment for Minor Variance will hold a hybrid public meeting on February 18, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.

Notice is provided in accordance with Section 36 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, however there is no public hearing process with respect to amending a by-law to remove the Holding (H) Symbol.
The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bracebridge passed By-law 2016-088 on November 29, 2016 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, repealing By-law 2016-049, for the property owned by James Watson, legally described as part of Lot 10, Concession 13, Macaulay Ward, Town of Bracebridge, being Parts 1 and 2 of Registered Plan 35R-22579. Permitted uses are limited on the subject property until such time that an amending by-law is passed. The earliest date on which Council proposes to meet to pass the amending by-law to remove the Holding (H) Symbol is February 12, 2025.
