The Town of Bracebridge has ended the Significant Weather Event effective Wednesday, December 18.
Rolling road closures will take place from 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17 to 7 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18 to facilitate snow removal in Downtown Bracebridge.
Public Works crews continue snow removal operations as a result of last week’s snow event, focusing on pushing back snow along roadways and sidewalk clearing. The Significant Weather Event remains in effect until further notice.
Due to the Rotary Club of Bracebridge-Muskoka Lakes Santa Claus Parade, the following sections of roads will be closed on Friday, December 6 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Rolling road closures will take place from 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4 to 7 a.m. on Thursday, December 5 to facilitate snow removal in Downtown Bracebridge. Traffic control will be in place while work takes place. Please keep the area clear during this time and ensure there are no vehicles parked on the road.
The Festival of Lights Moonlight Shopping Party and Street Festival takes place on Friday, November 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. As a result, parking lot and trail closures will be in effect.
Beginning Monday, November 18 at 7 a.m., Clearbrook Trail will be closed from Manitoba Street to Rosemead Close to facilitate connections to municipal sanitary sewer, storm sewer and watermain infrastructure. The road will be closed until end of day Wednesday, November 20, weather permitting.
