Municipal Cemeteries Seasonal Closure

BRACEBRIDGE, ON (November 27, 2024) – Town of Bracebridge cemeteries are now closed for the season. No interments or monument installations will take place. Cemeteries will re-open once the weather permits in the spring of 2025.

During the seasonal closure, driveway and roadways are not plowed, and overall grounds maintenance is paused. The public is still able to visit the cemeteries during this time, however visitors should proceed with caution.

The Town’s Cemetery By-law 2015-066 permits one wreath or flower arrangement on any single lot to mark special occasions that take place after October 15 and before May 1. These decorations must be removed within 30 days.
