Specialized fire training taking place November 2

BRACEBRIDGE, ON (October 30, 2024) – The Bracebridge Fire Department will be conducting specialized training on Saturday, November 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1056 Spring Lake Road. Fire apparatus will be present and artificial training smoke will be used and may be visible to the public. Signage will be placed out front of the property to inform the community.

Training involving search and rescue, rapid intervention teams and accountability operations will take place. Bracebridge Firefighters participate in ongoing training in all areas of fire and rescue services on an ongoing basis. Thanks to the property owner for providing the space to facilitate this training opportunity.
