Statutory holiday update – Easter Weekend
BRACEBRIDGE, ON (April 8, 2025) – Due to the Easter long weekend, several Town services and facilities will be closed from Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21 including:
- Municipal Office, 1000 Taylor Court;
- Bracebridge Library, 34 Salmon Avenue; and
- Bracebridge Fire Station 1, 225 Taylor Road.
Facilities will re-open for service during their regular business hours on Tuesday, April 22.
Bracebridge Fire
Bracebridge Fire Station 1 will be closed to the public on Easter Weekend. In the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1. Residents are reminded that daytime burning is not permitted from April 1 to October 31 and to check the fire danger rating prior to any burning. For more information visit bracebridge.ca/fire.
Bracebridge Library
While closed, Bracebridge Library card holders can enjoy free online resources 24/7. For access to eBooks, magazines, newspapers, online courses, reference centers, and more, visit bracebridgelibrary.ca/online-resources/
Recreation
The Bracebridge Sportsplex and Muskoka Lumber Community Centre will be closed for programming on Good Friday, April 18 and Easter Monday, April 21. However, the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre will remain open as an advanced polling location for the federal election.
Both facilities will operate during their regular business hours on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20.
