Trails at the Bracebridge Resource Management Centre remain closed

BRACEBRIDGE, ON (December 31, 2024) – Residents and visitors are reminded that trails at the Bracebridge Resources Management Centre are not open for use. Using trails before they are ready can:
  • Cause damage;
  • Add unnecessary repairs;
  • Pose safety risks to users; and
  • Make trails less enjoyable for everyone in the long run.
Town staff and a dedicated team of volunteers work hard to maintain trails every season. We appreciate that people are eagerly waiting to enjoy the trails and outdoor activities but ask for patience so crews can efficiently groom trails, clear debris and ensure a safe environment for users.

Over the past 30 years, the Town has worked collaboratively with the Ministry of Natural Resources to maintain and support the Bracebridge Resource Management Centre as a valuable outdoor asset and green space for residents and visitors. Through this collaboration the Town offers year-round access to the park’s network of trails and support the health and wellness of the community by providing an additional space for people to stay active, connect with nature, and explore the beauty in their own backyard.
