UPDATE | Recreation facility impacts due to winter storm
BRACEBRIDGE, ON (December 1, 2024) – Town of Bracebridge recreation facilities are experiencing power outages due to the winter storm. As a result, some amenities are unavailable. All user groups and rental parties have been contacted.
Bracebridge Sportsplex

- The facility is utilizing generator power and will remain open to the public until 5 p.m.
- The pool is closed and all programming has been cancelled.
Muskoka Lumber Community Centre
- The facility is utilizing generator power and will remain open to the public until 9:30 p.m.
- The Muskoka Lumber Arena is closed. Today’s hockey tournament is cancelled
Staff will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates when available.
