High Falls Picnic Area

High Falls is an ideal spot to stop and enjoy the view. The waterfalls located in this area include: Pott's Falls, Muskoka Canyon Falls, Little High Falls and Big High Falls. Much of this site is wheelchair accessible and is situated on the Trans-Canada Trail System. High Falls Picnic Area land is owned by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry that is used as a Ministry of Transportation Rest Area between May 15 to October 31. The Town owns 239 hectares of land natural area adjoining the High Falls Picnic Area. Picnic tables and public washrooms are (not equipped with heating or plumbing) are available. No camping services are at this location. For rest area maintenance issues, contact MTO Road Maintenance (Fowler Construction Company Limited) at 1-866-527-8216.
