Applicants can view all available job opportunities on our employment page. Interested candidates can email their cover letter and resume in Word or PDF format to humanresources@bracebridge.ca, quoting the job file number and including their first and last name in the subject line.

It is best to tailor your cover letter and resume to the qualifications, skills and experience required for the role.

All applications are reviewed and assessed in relation to the qualifications and experience outlined in the job posting. Applicants that best meet the qualifications and experience for the role are selected to move forward. Only those selected to move forward will be contacted.

Applicants who best meet the qualifications for the role will be contacted for a pre-assessment or interview. If you are contacted for an employment opportunity, please let Human Resources know of any accommodations needed to ensure you have access to a fair and equitable process. Any information received relating to accommodation will be addressed confidentially.

Pre-employment checks include:

  • Police Record Check;
  • Education Verification;
  • Professional References; and
  • Any additional employment verifications specific to the job requirements.

If you are selected to move forward in the hiring process, we will ask you to provide the relevant pre-employment checks at that time. All pre-employment checks must be met in order to proceed in the employment process.

If selected as the successful candidate, the applicant will be contacted  to discuss the details of the job offer and how to prepare for employment with the Town. This will be followed by a written offer of employment and all the necessary instructions and documents to prepare you to join the team as a new employee.
