The Town of Bracebridge Recreation department is introducing new updates, fees and programs to further enhance the customer experience and commitment to providing exceptional service.

Due to Labour Day on Monday, September 2, several Town facilities will be closed. 

The Bracebridge Sportsplex pool and climbing wall will be closed for annual maintenance from Friday, August 30 at 4:30 pm to Monday, September 16 at 6:30 a.m.

Today, the Town of Bracebridge celebrated the opening of the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, a state-of-the-art, multi-generational social hub that consolidates community activities and services under one roof.

The Town of Bracebridge is excited to unveil a new piece of public art at the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, created by artist Kyle Thornley of Metal Mind Forge. Formed from mild steel, the suspended sculpture titled 

Beginning Monday, August 26, work will commence on the replacement of the High Falls Bridge located on Power Point Road. McPherson-Andrews Contracting Limited (MAC) will oversee the project which will take three months to complete.

During the week of August 26, duct cleaning will take place at the Municipal Office, 1000 Taylor Court. Cleaning will take place in phases to minimize impacts to staff and Town services.
