As the Town of Bracebridge marks its 150-year anniversary, a remarkable piece of its heritage is coming to life online. The Town is pleased to announce the launch of the Bracebridge Digital Archive, an extensive online database showcasing Bracebridge’s rich history through hundreds of artifacts, including postcards, photographs, newspaper clippings, and more.
Rolling road closures will take place to facilitate snow removal on Wednesday, February 19 and Thursday, February 20 beginning at 7 p.m. each night until 7 a.m. the following morning. Traffic control will be in place during these operations. Please keep the area clear during this time and ensure there are no vehicles parked on the road.
The Town of Bracebridge is in the process of preparing an update to the Official Plan to guide the future of the Town. The result of the Official Plan update has been the preparation of an Official Plan Amendment to make several changes to the Official Plan for the Town.
Town facilities will remain open on Family Day, Monday, February 17.

On Friday, January 31 at approximately 1 p.m., the Bracebridge Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 6 Monica Lane. No injuries were reported.
