A Noise Exemption has been issued to Muskoka Pride Parade & Festival.

The Town of Bracebridge has reached another major milestone in the redevelopment of the former Memorial Arena site, with Council approving a Zoning By-law Amendment that moves the affordable housing project one step closer to construction.

The Town of Bracebridge is proud to share that former Director of Recreation, Cindy O’Regan, has been named a recipient of the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) Award of Merit, one of the highest honours in the parks and recreation profession in Canada. Mayor Rick Maloney presented the award at yesterday’s Town Council meeting on behalf of the CPRA.

I, Mayor Rick Maloney, hereby approve the by-laws passed at the Town of Bracebridge Council meeting held on July 15, 2026 in accordance with s. 284.11(4) of the Municipal Act, 2001.

The Town of Bracebridge is planning for the replacement of the playground equipment and related amenities at two neighbourhood parks.

The Muskoka Association of Fire Chiefs has raised the Fire Danger Rating to Extreme, and a total fire ban is now in effect until further notice.

The Town of Bracebridge will begin installing updated speed limit signs on municipal roads in rural areas of town as part of the continued implementation of speed limit changes approved by Council in 2023.

Take notice that the Planning and Development Committee will hold a hybrid public meeting on August 5, 2026 at 2:30 P.M. This meeting will be held in a Hybrid format in accordance with Section 238 of the Municipal Act, and the Town’s Procedure By-law, which provide for Electronic Participation.
